Google for Nonprofits allows charities and not-for-profit organisations to work more quickly and efficiently to reach a wider audience, spur more supporters to take action and tell their stories more compellingly.

Google for Nonprofits provides access to Google Workspace, Google Ads, Youtube’s Nonprofit Program, Google Earth Outreach, and Google Maps Platform.

What organisations are eligible?

Most income tax-exempt not-for-profit organisations and charities will be eligible, with the exception of hospitals, healthcare organisations, schools, academic institutions and government entities.

Getting started

  1. Request a Google for Nonprofits account, where the system will step you through the request process.
  2. Wait for verification from Google's validation partners. They may contact you for more information to verify your organisation. 
  3. Activate Google for Nonprofits - once your verification is confirmed, you can begin activating your Google Workspace for Nonprofits environment. 
  4. If you need additional support, Google has a comprehensive help centre for nonprofits.
