Google for Nonprofits allows charities and not-for-profit organisations to work more quickly and efficiently to reach a wider audience, spur more supporters to take action, and tell their story in a more compelling way.
Google for Nonprofits provides access to Google Workspace, Google Ads, Youtube’s Nonprofit Program and Google Earth Outreach and Google Maps Platform.

What organisations are eligible?
Most income tax-exempt not-for-profit organisations and charities will be eligible, with the exception of hospitals, healthcare organisations, schools, academic institutions and government entities.
- If you’re not already registered, you’ll need to register your organisation with Connecting Up if you haven’t done so already.
- Once you’ve been approved or if you’re already a member, then you’ll want to get your TechSoup Validation Token so that you can complete your application with Google. Validation tokens are free and can be generated at any time by clicking ‘TechSoup Validation Tokens’ on the Connecting Up account dashboard. Read an FAQ on validation tokens.
- Once you have copied your validation token code, go to Google for Nonprofits to complete your application. Google will contact you once they’ve finished processing your application but keep in mind this can take a few business days.
